Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge travel fees?
There are no travel fees for distances of 80 miles or less from Verona, NJ. We cover NY, NJ, CT, and PA and we welcome destination weddings.
Do we get to keep the negatives?
Yes, you do.
I want to hire VESA Studios for my wedding! What do I do next?
We will prepare a contract based on your quote and send you a link to where you can sign the contract online and submit the deposit.
Can I keep in touch with my photographer after we sign the contract?
Absolutely! We encourage you to contact your photographer with any questions or suggestions you may have before the wedding.
Do you do in-person meetings?
In 2018, we became a fully online wedding studio. All of our meetings are completed via Skype, Google Hangouts, or phone.
How many images will I receive?
For a typical wedding (10-hour coverage), you will receive 700+ images. We have covered weddings for which we delivered more than 1,400 images with one photographer (10-hour coverage). The number of images delivered depends on the length of coverage, the number of locations, the number of guests, and a host of other factors. Therefore, it is very difficult to come up with an exact number. We have never delivered fewer than 700 images for 10-hour coverage (one photographer).
Do you work on the images after the wedding?
Yes. All images are color- and exposure-corrected and digitally enhanced.
How experienced are your photographers?
For someone to qualify as a VESA photographer, they need a minimum of three years of wedding photography experience.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes, we carry $2,000,000 in liability coverage.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, we do. At the wedding, our photographers will have at least two camera bodies, two flashes, and several lenses and batteries.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use Canon and Sony professional-grade camera bodies and lenses.
Do you shoot in photo-journalistic style?
Yes, we do. Based on our experience, we recommend a combination of photo-journalistic and guided posing (non-traditional) as the best way to capture the atmosphere and memories of the wedding day.
